BALL CONTROL
SOCCER RALLY: ARENA has arcade style car physics, which lets you easily drive around the pitch and score goals like a pro. We’ve worked hard to make the ball physics perfect and feel right. We wanted you to be able to drive the cars skilfully and shoot the ball with ease. Our focus is on empowering you to be able to decide on how you hit the ball and know which direction it’s going to go in. Will you bounce the ball off the wall and over the other cars? Will you chip the ball with the left front bumper and send curve to the left? Will you use the side of your car to block and knock the ball into position so you can make a perfect follow up shot?
With SOCCER RALLY: ARENA you can easily carry out and perform skilful gameplay.
WHY TOP DOWN?
In car games, the behind the car camera view lets you feel the speed of the action; But the top down view goes back to Soccer Rally’s roots and adds to its gameplay and uniqueness. The game has always taken this camera and for good reason. This has been mainly because the top down view lends itself to mobile and lets players focus on simple controls that are fun on these devices.
But also, and more intrinsic to the game, the top down camera lets players see all the action at once. This means the players can make judgement calls on whether or not they can reach the ball before the other cars.
Should you take the shot? Should you get back to the goal line so they can defend? Should you drive across the pitch to block the shot the other player is about to take? It’ll be the rapid on the fly decisions you make, that will determine if you win. SOCCER RALLY: ARENA lets you focus solely on strategic decisions by showing you everything all at once, which adds a uniqueness and depth that is only achieved through this top down camera view.
PLAY IN PARTIES WITH FRIENDS
Bring together your team and take on the world. SOCCER RALLY: ARENA features party modes that lets you join up with friends and play together. There are two party modes available.
RANKED PARTY lets you team up with 2 friends and play against the rest of the world in 3v3 competition. In this mode you'll help each other move up the ranks together.
PRIVATE PARTY is just for fun and the results don't have any effect on your ranking. You can add up to 5 players from your friends list, set up who's on which side and play uneven games such as a 3v1 if you choose.
RANKING SYSTEM & MATCHMAKING
SOCCER RALLY: ARENA is the ultimate car football game on mobile. Featuring a Ranking system to climb, ensuring you are matched against evenly skilled players.
As you climb through the ranks you will be pitted against ever higher skilled opponents. You will have to master your car, out drive and out think your opponents if you want to rise to the heights of the LEGEND rank.
BALANCE IS KEY
As well as a ranking system to keep players evenly matched; All the cars have been lovingly set up and fine tuned to make sure no one car is more advantageous than another.
While it would have been easy and quite frankly lazy for us to set up SOCCER RALLY: ARENA with uneven cars; It has been something we’ve avoided. For example, cars have been balanced so they have both strengths and weaknesses. The fastest cars for example, have a slower boost speed than their slower counterparts and on top of that the slowest car can both hold the most boost tanks and actually go faster than the fastest car with it’s boost speed.
